The headshaving scene

Did Griselda consent willingly to having all her hair shaved off or was money used as an incentive? At first glance, she appears stoic and emotionless as she's being sheared and continues to do so as Storey and his father pick up her hair off the floor and sniff it. But we get word later on in the movie that she prefers a hairless body, even get a glimpse of it as we see that she's bald "down there" as well.

I'm sure Toni Collette got a slightly bigger paycheck for being shaved, even though she was sporting a short crop before her shearing.
