The acting

The crux of this entire movie lies solely within the actors' performances. Their straight forward ability to deliver lines was what really holds the thing together. While the Dogme style and occasional boom mic may have nodded at the audience, it was the performances that allowed me not to shrug this movie off. Had both the actors and the aesthetic both been nodding at the audience, the movie would have totally flopped for me. Placed side by side however, we get a really strange dichotomy that I think I'll be thinking about for a long time.

The acting in this movie was beyond belief! And yes, the lines just flowed from them naturally-this is why the movie sometimes seems more like a documentary.
