The story is fantasic. Very engaging, good mix of comedy and action, great underlying messages and adult content. Utilizing today's CGI, and a really good script, I can see this story concept becoming the next Harry Potter series... I think they should be movies.. Not books, and go for 7 or 8 films. Like the HP franchise.

Agreed, and a TV show a greater focus on the mature themes in the books would be a great option too. This is just a thought but what if they adapted the main book series as a TV show, and then down the road, use another book from the Animorphs universe as the basis for either a wrap-up film or prequel?

Seriously. I know the books were mostly cash grabs with several authors working under Applegate, but they had some really great stories.
