DVD - now available

The entire 26 episode run of Timeslip is now available from Carlton Visual Entertainment Ltd on region 2 DVD. The 4-disc set also includes the rarely seen original colour version of episode 12 as well as text extras and a photo gallery of still never before published.

All of the episodes (including the colour one) have been totally re-mastered and cleaned up and, as such, are of a much higher quality and resolution than the inferior prints used for the early nineties VHS release.

The recommended price for the set is £29.99.

$56 and free shipping at amazon (US). Amazon is pretty good about shipping it right on the release day (11/29).

yes, although most of us in the UK only had B&W tellys in those days (that is why all of my childhood programmes are remembered in B&W for me). Regretably only one episode remains in colour as in those days it was common practice to wipe the original master tapes and re-use them for storing new programmmes on. Still it has been much luckier than Ace of Wands which has totally lost their first 2 series master tapes and only has their 3rd and final serries left now.

Very disappointed with the DVD on the biography of Cheryl Burfield as it stated her family situation but no such situation was mention for the biographies of other subject matters.

Disappointed with this inconsistency and I did not want to know her family situation.

In fact her family situation is nothing more than a lie on the biography.
