Ted Koppel

Ted Koppel is the man and he can't be replaced.

I have to agree. I think it's become a news magazine now without him.

reply

It's not the same without him.

reply

I agree. It's fluff now. It seems like once a week they have a story about the porn industry.

Where are the interviews between the two sides in a issue? They left with Ted I suppose.

It must be what America wants because supposedly the ratings are up.

reply

I think that the show has improved
Without him as it is going
Up in the ratings from what I read!

Koppel was doing a piece the other night for Brian William's "Rock Center", so it's nice he's still working.

Until last night, I hadn't seen Nightline in a number of years since Ted Koppel, a true investigative journalist of the old style, retired. It was utterly appalling to see how that show has deteriorated. We have real issues to investigate and report on in this country while Nightline turns it attention to sexless marriages, roadkill fashions and Benedict Cumberbatch. Shameful.
