Looked good but very dull...

Wardrobe and set design were quite good. Very pleasing on the eyes almost every frame. Thomas was glamorous. NO chemistry between the characters. A few references to the coming war were supposed to give an atmosphere of approaching danger and utterly failed to do so. The result: complete viewer apathy about the destinies of the people involved.
