Quite realistic, unfortunately

I found the plot and expecially the characters in this movie very close to reality (except maybe for Liam - he is a madman in addition to being what is usually called a "nerd").

Anyway, these people are all easily met in modern real life, most of them total losers that would
a) cheat on their partner whom they truly love and intend to marry. No good reason is given for such behavious, except of simple lust.
b) deluding themselves of grandeur while only being a small-time women predator, in a life that goes absolutely nowhere and leaves them empty.
c) loathe men out of ignorance, misinformation or stupidity (may be just an excuse for their lesbian tendencies which they don't have the courage to openly admit to themselves).
d) loathe themselves for their physical appearance (what good is that?), while doing exactly nothing to improve it, or to concentrate on their own real values.
e) engaging in a miriad of relationships based on looks (own or of the partner's), playing the game of "I broke it up", while dragging her son in her disfunctional life.

etc. A bunch of losers that resambles the circle of actresses in "Sex in the city" (which I call "Losers inc.". It's a very realistic show, too.

The one thing that stood out as overly unrealistic, was Danny's and Hannah's reconciliation at the end.

I wouldn't say Liam was a 'madman' he just had, er. Serious issues.

As usual, Ginger and I are engaged in our quest to find out what the hell is going on and save humanity from my nemesis, some bastard who's presumably responsible.

I love this film and despite what you say Liam(s) is everywhere. When me and my best mate watched this film she said I was Liam, I am still not sure if it is a compliment or not.
