Does anyone know if she did her own singing in the movie? I tried to watch the credits, but I couldn't tell for sure.

i wondered that also.

No, she didn't, according to the director's commentary track.

ah, thnx for info. they did a good job matching the voice with the actress. sometimes people are singing in a movie and the singing voice given to the actor is SO completely unrealistic.

ms. neal also did a fantastic job lip-syncing.

Her songs were sung by CeCe White. Search for video on you-tube of CeCe singing live with Tony Lucca. The only CDs that include her that I know of are "Girish::Reveal" + "Put the O Back in Country" but she is only a backing singer

Elise's offical site says she has formed a group with 2 other female singers:
Assorted Flavors - a HIP HOP Singing/Dance Group.
