Who is the that woman and girl (she was killed) with Isabelle?

You may have to read the book to find out. It was never revealed in the movie.

I always thought they were her friends from whatever Eastern European country she emigrated from. But like Guilliarme says in the commentary, Carax purposely left a lot of loose ends in compliance with the amibiguity thing.

The book is just as ambiguous as the film.
