Pola X Post Industrial Music Group

Does anybody know who that post industrial music group is?

reply

various musicians. all i know is bill callahan, the american musician who fronts '(smog)' (an excellent band) makes an appearance as a guitarist.

they sort of remind me of godspeed you black emperor in a general kind of way.

I believe most of the music was written and produced by Scott Walker as the s/t album is available. There is indeed a Smog track or two but it's mostly Scott and very good it is too. Look up Scott on wikipedia, he is something of an enigma and to many, some kind of musical messiah, although one with a very slow workrate =)

It was a very cool concept. Songwriting-wise i would have locked onto a riff or two and jammed them out hardcore. They could have used the drummer from Slipknot for that kind of thing. I'm not too much into that group but he could have made the band in the movie play into a few powerhouse grooves (even though i'm sure that's probably not what they really wanted to do).

-Good movie. Grade: B/B+.

-Yekaterina Golubeva was very pretty.

Having a conductor made it ridiculously pretentious.
