Just thought I'd pass along this nugget to fans of the film. We should be in fine hands with Critereon, who has never done a release wrong. Aside from Wings of Desire, I've never looked forward to a Critereon Blu-ray more.

shareI got this gem a few years ago as a blind purchase and I'm happy as a clam with it. The bluray is absolutely GORGEOUS!! All the textures, the fabrics the actors eyelashes look astonishing. It's become one of my favorite movies im general and in my collection of Criterions.
This movie is amazing. It's a tribute to the creative process and the artists' daily struggle.
Those Criterion folks have done it justice
