Pointless, cheap, poorly made Halloween rip off

Anyone else think this was a really cheap and nasty Halloween rip off?
The only reason I watched it was that I found it in a batch of cheap dvd's I bought and the cover looked cool. The 3 leads all have thier names above the title even though none of them have made anything before (hows that happen?) there's no gore, no interesting plot lines, poor quality lighting and camera work, poor editing and poor acting. How does a film this crap ever get itself a mainstream release???
