My little Eye is superior

I watched Kolobos after reading comments by another poster.
Unfortunately, I disagree with that poster, and felt watching Kolobos was a waste of my time.
My Little Eye is the superior of the two:
MLE has a better script.
MLE has better cinematography.
The actors and acting in MLE is superior.
I could believe the actors in MLE; I couldn't empathasiz/sympathasize with anyone in Kolobos.
Mye Little Eye is the better movie of the two for these reasons...

It's not supposed to be a contest.

Don't base your dislike on the movie on the idea that a similer one was better. If you dislike this movie, at least give a reasonable excuse for your opinion.

YES, u are so right.

I preferred Kolobos; the acting may not have been great but at least the movie was decently paced unlike MLE which was a total snooze-fest until the ending. The gore is also far superior in Kolobos although that isn't the main reason i liked this film. I really didn't enjoy MLE, it was slow, it held back on the more horrific set-pieces (the beheading was truly pitiful) and overall just did not keep me entertained, Kolobos also came out first although that in itself isn't a reason for its overall superiority...

You follow around the board whining that the decapitation was "pitiful" in all your posts and expect people to take you seriously?!?!?!?

MLE was a movie based on suspense.

Kolobos was a movie based on a feeble attempt at shock- value. Just because you like "gore" doesn't mean that's what the rest of the world watches movies for. Some of us actually like well-developed plotlines and characterization... Which Kolobos lacks, totally...

Kolobos was an excellent movie. Those who disagree should watch hell asylum. now THAT sucked.

Why wouldn't you put this on the My Little Eye page instead of here? Why do people need to belittle films to justify their liking of others?

I've seen both films and to be honest Kolobos is the one I still want to see again, perhaps that is influenced by my seeing Kolobos first and so the idea was fresher that time around or perhaps it was because I had never heard of Kolobos whereas folks were going on at me to see My Little Eye for ages, the weight of expectation may just have proven too much. I don't think either film is particularly "bad" nor are they all that "good" either, both proved to be above average fare on Zone Horror (for whatever that's worth).

We can't stop here... This is Bat Country!

im sorry dude but my little eye was just a waste of time for me and kolobos was way better than that crap, im not saying that kolobos was a great movie but it was better than my little eye.

Tell me, do you own an online DVD shop or something? Sounds like you had the choice of picking one of these two titles in bulk on a buy on get one free deal from your local distributor and ended up going with My Little Eye, you bought a few hundred to sell and nobody is interested and they keep calling you up asking for Kolobos instead and now you're regretting your purchase and have tonnes of stock nobody wants right now. Don't worry somebody out ther must want My Little Eye. Eye don't, but someone might.

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.

My Little Eye is technically better, but I had trouble staying with it because of the long stretch of boredom before the downbeat finale. Kolobos cuts to the chase faster, managing more atmosphere and better scares, despite being a loosy-goosey film in many respects.

Kolobos is more crude, but less boring, than My Little Eye.
