Does anybody know where I can find the instrumental song that plays during many scenes and during the credits. Also, for those who have the DVD it plays during the menu.
I have that song. If you want I can upload it somewhere.
Another question, though. Does anyone know where the orchestral music is from that plays when Vanraj calls out Nandini's name to the bridge? I don't think it is original to the movie (it's definitely European music, not Indian), but it isn't credited anywhere. An opera maybe? I absolutely adore that scene, partly because the string music is so beautiful. I got it from my DVD, but it has the dialogue over it and I would like just the music.
Ooh yes please, i'd much appreciate it, if it's not too much trouble.
I remember the scene you're talking about, and as far as I can remember it was just the instrumental bit that plays throughout the song Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. You can try Limewire to download the song (which has no dailgoue in it) because i'm sure it has the entire soundtrack there. If not, I can send it to you via email or something.
You have just made my last three months (since I first saw the film)! That piece is so beautiful, and I can't believe it wasn't credited! Anyway, I just ordered the soundtrack of The Portrait of a Lady. Maybe I'll even track down that movie now. I love period films. Thanks so much!
