I haven't seen Hollow Gate in years--I rented it as a teenager maybe 12 years ago--but it has stuck with me. It's not a great movie. I remember the characters had the intelligence on gnats. But the villain was pretty freaky and it had a really good Halloween atmosphere to it. To this day, I fondly recall the scene set at the costume shop and also the climax at the psychopath's house.

I desperately want this movie on DVD, but according to Amazon, it has only ever been released in Germany on a Region 2 disc. It deserves a Region 1 release. Until that time, does anyone out there happen to know of where a DVD copy of this film could be available? Even if it's a bootleg, or copied from a VHS, that's better than nothing until a proper release happens.

Hollow Gate deserves more attention!

I've never seen it on DVD either. I own a copy on VHS, bought about 14 years ago. I haven't watched it in forever and was wondering about selling it, that's what got me checking this to see if there was any interest.

I no longer own a VCR so a VHS copy wouldn't help me. You might be able to get a good amount for it, though, since it's not on DVD.
