Vincent plans or running away with Cecile telling her to wait at a station for him but she never comes and Cecile runs away to Barcelona and from there to Morocco to Samira. Michel doesn't die and gets better mainly due to his ex-wife who nurses him back.

The rest of it I didn't get. The wife tells him she is leaving for Tuscany and Vincente trashes her last gallery show ( kind of ) and they walk away together.

Doesn that make any sense, it did a little to me. I guess she takes him back despite him being a compelte moron.
