What language was this film in?

I recently watched Deepa Mehta's "Water" which was in Hindi. This film didn't sound like Hindi and the DVD case mentions Punjabi, Parsee and Urdu as well as Hindi. Any ideas?

Yes, I hate dubbed films or films not in their correct language. However, while "water" is in Hindi, any ideas about "Earth" which sounds different?

Thanks for that. I only asked because "Earth" sounded different to other Hindi films I've seen.

language mosty used is hindi and urdu but there are some punjabi dialogs from maulana and some parsi sialogs between lenny and her mother
