Did anyone else get an unsettling 9/11 vibe?

I should start by saying - what a fantastic documentary, what a beautiful film, and kudos to Edward Norton without whose recommendation I might have never heard of it.

But one thing struck me - although I know the film was made in 1998, there were a couple of moments in it that gave me a disturbing feeling of a premonition of the 9/11 attacks. Most obviously, when Timothy plays his game of spinning around in circles between the WTC towers, then looking up to feel as though the towers were falling down on you; and also near the beginning when he mentions the towers were built to sway slightly in the wind. Then there's this beautifully haunting phrase -

"New York is a city that was created in an explosion, it is an explosion... this is ludicrousness... and this cannot last."

Combining this with the fact that the film is a personal favorite of Edward Norton, who four years later would star in the fantastic 25th Hour which is deeply immersed in New York's attempt to come to grips with the magnitude of the 9/11 attacks and what they mean to the city... is there something here or am I just babbling?
