A bit dissapointed.

As i stated above. After reading all the good reviews i bought and watched it. I mean dont get me wrong i did like it, but just barley.There were just two things that bugged me. 1) The acting. It was pretty cheesy. Not from the two leads mind you. But from the people that the two would go to treat. It seems like the director just grabed people off the street. That works in some cases but not here. And 2) The budget. You could tell it was low budget. Not that i have a problem with a low budget movie. But i did during the whole meth lab explosion scene. That looked way cheesy. But other then that the movie was alright.

Much agreed! I've always been a fan of Bringing out the Dead and I myself used to be a medic. But man, this movie fell way short of my expectations. The acting and small budget made this movie kinda hard to watch. BTW, Todd field was the most unintimidating man in the history of the 90's. My 1 year old daughter probably wouldn't be afraid of that guy!
