The original Bottom Live has got to be the best one of the lot and the funiest thing I have ever watched.

I watched it for the first time when I was 15, now 12 years later it is still as funny as ever. There is just something about it that makes is so much better then the other live shows. Mainly the energy that Rik and Ade put into the show. How many stage shows to you see one of the charecters accidently super glue an inflatable sex doll to their penis? Not many!!!

There are so many one liners, crazy fights and mindless acts of violence that just get me in stiches. Even the adlib lines are better than scripted lines in other shows.

Richie: Edie, Edie, Edie WOW, you were born in Southhampton! Why did you ever leave?
Eddie: Because I found the railway station.

Bottom Live 1 is just CLASSIC - yes, the sex doll bit is fab!! Rik was just so darn sexy in the entire show!?!

i enjoy all the bottom lives but #1 is the very best one for me.
the whole "don't you ever yearn for change" cockup has me in stitches every time.
and who can resist rik in his pants during most of the play. come on!!!!! hubba hubba sex god on two legs!

This is without a shadow of a doubt there best live show.

Its hilarious from start to finish!
Ofcorse the best bit is where they are ad-lib'ing near the end. If i was in the audience i would probably be wetting myself.

A classic.

Hard to get on dvd though, sadly :(
