What a love story!

1. Only Bernardo Bertolucci can make such a love story.

2. This movie is not speak and listen love story, its shuttle and almost mute but symbolically very rich.

3. When she says 'I have lot of RESPECT' for him ' ( for Winston, her husband back in Africa), the lost (missing) ball is found from under a plant!

4. From the very next day of the love confession by David and her subsequent rebuttal, things change between them. Her heart comes out openly against her mind. Film goes in 'feel' mode from speak and listen mode. So much so that, Bertolucci proves that piano playing can go with vacuum cleaning! Only he can do this. (Remember Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt dancing on copier machine noise in 'Cast Away'?)!

5. Half of the role was played by champagne at the last night! No one can deny that. (Her boobs were of absolutely original design, by the way).

6. Can't say anything for sure about actually what happens with she and her husband but I did see her husband picking up his bag from the ground by the hand he was pressing the call bell and retreat a little.

7. I will never forget the scene she urinates in her dress.
