didn't ann love her mom deep down inside but didn't know how to show it? at the very end of the movie they both say they love each other before she leaves for brown and then she stops to look at her mom.

shareI have this theory that mothers aren't meant to live with their daughters. The daugher will always resent the mother and feel like she's trying to make her into something she's not and the mother will become frusterated because she will feel like nothing she ever does is good enough. But in the end, they still love each other.
