Adele's Manners / Complaint of Annes

I don't understand why Anne was upset about the noise Adele made when she ate. She was eating potato chips out of a bag while driving cross country. Besides , I couldn't believe how Anne was eating at Denny's. She was eating a bowl of Rice Krispies and I couldn't help but notice how she ate/chewed with her mouth so open I could see her mouths contents. Overall, I thought she was a pretty *beep* little brat . Also when your head and face are as big and round as a pumpkin and you have huge dark moles on your face , you don't want to make your self even more unnattractive by eating like that.

She thought her mother's eating was annoying because she'd smack her lips and such.
Anne was eating like that on purpose, trying to be like her mother because her mother was telling people she didn't even know things that Anne never wants/wanted to do. It was her way of getting back at her mother.

I will admit her manners when eating weren't the best, but I understand what she meant when she was talking about Adele. That's exactly how my mom eats, and it's horrid!

I think she was purposely trying to be obnoxious with her chewing because she was angry with her mother for making her move. She just didn't give a damn what any strangers thought and she wanted to piss off her mom.

When I was a young teenager everything my mother did annoyed me. She could do nothing right in my eyes. She was much like the character Adele in this movie too. It wasnt until I became older that I began to appreciate my mom witth all her flaws and all.
