What's the name of another movie like this one??

My dad checked out this movie years ago from the local library about a mother and daughter starting over somewhere else. I remember one scene and that is they are driving to their destination and they start throwing out all their clothes and stuff because they want to throw out the old and bring in the new. I remember one sexual reference about "chocking the chicken."

Does anyone know that movie this might be??

I remember there being a movie called Tumbleweeds and it looking exactly like Anywhere But Here. But I never saw it. I just remember it being about a mother and daughter and it looking like it could be the same as ABH.

what about white Olender? (sry i think i spelled it wrong)
but thats sort of like it.

White Oleander is a great film (and book) about a really dysfunctional mother/daughter relationship. Highly recommend!

It was Tumbleweeds. I've seen it. They throw the clothes out the window.
