MONEY MONEY MONEY

Everytime I tune in the show revolves around money.

Tithe this, tithe that?

What does God/Jesus need with a lousy dollar bill? It is just green paper.

What is this crap about send more money and Jesus will send you even more money in return?

Personally I think jesus should focus more on helping the sick and homeless as opposed to helping his followers get rich.

Jesus turned the money changers out of the Temple. Can you imagine how pissed off he is at these false prophets at the 700 Club? They bleed the old and poor dry, feeding off of those on pensions and small benefits. If Robertson and his crew weren't going to Hell for publically spewing so much hate, they'll go to Hell for acting so un-Christianlike and abusing the elderly and gullible.

Robertson is blind to his own covetous nature.

How many diamond mines would Jesus own?

reply

Well yeah its a money scamming show.

Well it has been 5 years since I started this thread and I have the 700 Club on now for the first time since then AND...

Right now they are trying to raise $125K ($125,000.00) in 4 minutes!!!

Now they are airing clips of people tithing and then getting obscene amounts of money "magically" from God.

If God has this much money to throw back at them, then why collect to begin with?

Olive in Mount Dora, FL is giving $68/month. That is nearly double my monthly phone bill.

It goes a lot faster for me since the FFWD takes me through all that garbage. I watch 700 for the news and the occasional guest I want to see.

I was channel flipping last night and they are asking $125k AGAIN. All this talk about money and giving reminds me of the Robert Tilton fraud.
