American History X in a new perspective

I analysed this film and American History X while I was studying film. We all saw this as a Canadian female perspective of American History X!

An impressionable young mind in American History X we saw who got turned into a foot soldier who lead a group of other youngsters into carrying out the dirty work for the likes of Cameron Alexander (Stacy Keach) and in White Lies we see Sarah Polly's character do the same for Rex Brennan (Joseph Kell).

Yet they both see a whole new turn around in their lives that both sides have faults!

Derek Vinyard is reformed after he is betrayed by the 'Brotherhood' in prison and Catherine Chapman is reformed too after she sees that her group was only using her s a mascot for good image.

Both powerful films!

Totally true. Both characters were exactly similar. Another movie to check out that is similar as well is "Fuehrer Ex" which is from Germany. The movie takes place in Berlin before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall. One of the main characters, "Heiko"(Christian Bluemel) becomes a "foot soldier" for a Neo-Nazi organization which of course is really led by a Neo-Nazi leader by the name of "Friedhelm"(Harry Baer). In all three movies you can see a young charismatic leader becoming a "foot soldier" for middle-aged right-wing men who are really in charge of a Right wing organization. And you'll also see their changes after certain tragedies affect each character towards the end of each movie.
