Holy shit, this is how you do a shark b-movie. The last line spoken by the only remaining African-American character ("Take me back to the ghetto"), followed by a shark rap is the fucking cherry on top. Holy shit. What a movie. *takes deep breath*

shareAlthough I wouldn't go there, I have heard that from other people before. Jaws is still my number one, but I think this definitely comes in second. Maybe a distant second, but certainly more entertaining and solid than any of the Jaws or Sharknado movies.
shareHonestly enjoyed this more. For me it was more exciting. I still enjoy Jaws, but this is a classic. Kind of a shame to even call it a B Movie.
shareIt's so good... You could tell they had all the ingredients to make it a serious Sci-Fi movies with that cast and that budget... I'm glad they went the dumb and fun route!

I agree and amazingly it has aged very well. A lot of sci-fi movies from that time period do not.

The movie has excellent pacing and a pretty decent soundtrack too.
