Dutch locations

Any ideas where these are:

- The boat where they play 'Black Moon'
- The town they pull into in the snow (with the statue in the square)
- The hotel they leave in a hurry (looks like the 'Oosterhoek hotel')
- The road lined with trees

- The boat where they play 'Black Moon'
I don't know. Maybe somewhere in Rotterdam. (There's a canal, but the buildings on one side are quite modern/newly built.)

- The town they pull into in the snow (with the statue in the square)

The town is Hoorn, in the province of Noord-Holland. The square is called Roode Steen, and it's the statue of J.P. Coen. Their gig is (supposedly) at the Westfries Museum, which we see at the right of the statue (on the statue's left hand).

The bridge over the canal with the bicyclist, right before the scene where Ray (Bill Nighy) and Karen are at an AA meeting (which turns out to be a meeting of "Weight Watchers Anonymous"), is also in Hoorn, at Nieuwendam / Veermanskade. (The camera is standing at the other side, at Korenmarkt.)

- The hotel they leave in a hurry (looks like the 'Oosterhoek hotel')
I couldn't find any "Oosterhoek hotel".

Are you referring to the inside of the hotel (with the orange walls and the stairs), or to the outside of the hotel (the white facade, with the red neon signs and a small arched entrance, and the Strange Fruit tourbus parked in front)?

In case of the latter, here are some screencaps:

Although the building looks convincing, I'm not sure it really exists in the Netherlands. Some details are off, or at least very a-typical:
- The windows have different widths. We can see at least three different sized windows. I did several online searches but it seems that buildings like that would usually have windows that are all the same size.
- The window shutters (at the sides of each window) are all the same size, even though the windows have different widths. That doesn't make sense.
- In the second pic, the three light bulbs at the end (around the corner) from the string of light bulbs hanging from the top of the building don't hang as low as they do in the first pic. This hints to me that the light bulbs were added as props by the filmmakers, and I assume the same is true for the red neon signs, the green light element, and the (unreadable) sign plates with the name of the hotel.
- The thin fence against which the bicycles are placed (and which can be seen in closeup when Claire walks out of the building and hears Ray scream when he is about to fall through the ice) are also a-typical of Dutch buildings; usually there is no such fence.
- If the building really exists (and isn't just some built filmset), then the building's design/style doesn't look very Dutch to me; it looks rather German, or maybe even British.

- The road lined with trees
Could be anywhere in The Netherlands. Just do a Google search for 'polderweg' (which means 'road in the polder') and you'll find enough examples. Some of them have trees, and some of them don't have trees.

One good example are the roads in the Beemsterpolder:

By the way, one of the road signs shown when the bus is driving on the highway at night indicates they are on the Amsterdam Ring (A10) in the direction of Purmerend (A8). We also see atmospheric night shots of a city, with neon signs saying "Blue Boy" and "Palazzina". The Blue Boy Club was a gay escort bar, and Palazzina is a lingerie shop, both are in Amsterdam. So these places, as well as Hoorn and the Beemsterpolder, are all located in the province of Noord-Holland. My bet is that all Dutch locations in the movie (if they weren't filmed outside of the Netherlands, like on a UK filmset; or in Belgium, like when they arrive with the ferry) are in Noord-Holland, near Amsterdam.
