what made you laugh?

Though the jokes in the this movie are pretty inconsistent (the sheep joke?), I love when the model guy is showing the girl his photo, and he's like "this is important! this one...or this one?" and they're the same pose except with different colored shirts.

also, when the guy rides off the cliff on the motorcycle, and when heath ledger dissects his frog by stabbing it with a switchblade.

the dad's hilarious, and Joseph GL is great as always ("I'm back in the game!")

Julia Stiles doesn't really pull much humor off in this, except the table dance - she falls off the table and is like "I'm fine".

The "My Balls, My Balls" line. The whole Bianca getting Patrick out of detention. The French lessons haha.

reply

Kat gets Patrick out of detention, not Bianca. :)

When Bianca gets distracted by Joey in archery class, and accidentally shoots the coach in the butt.

When Cameron and Michael go to the pub and either Cameron or Michael grabs a ball off of the pool table then throws it back, costing that player's game and money.

The coach during detention. "I'm confiscating this (pot).... This too (cheetos?)".

I always thought the English teacher was very funny. Expecially in the beginning of the movie.

reply

I agree! I laugh all the time when he comes up.

The English teacher was hilarious.

Mr. Morgan: I know how difficult it must be for you to overcome all those years of upper middle-class suburban oppression. Must be tough. But the next time you storm the PTA crusading for better... lunch meat, or whatever it is you white girls complain about, ask them WHY they can't buy a book written by a black man!

White Rastas: That's right mon!

Mr. Morgan: Don't even get me started on you two!

When the father talks to Bianca about dating He said "I delivered a set of twins to a 15 year old girl do you know what she said"

Bianca says "I'm a crack Whore who should have made my sleazy boyfriend where a condom"

Father said no "She said i should have listened to my father"

Bianca doesn't agree and her father says "Thats what she would have said if she wasn't so doped up"

That line literally slays me every time! It's the way he says it too!

"Some day you're going to get bitch slapped, and im not gonna do a thing to stop it."

Basically everything that Mr morgan says. He was hilarious.

"My last party was at Chuck E Cheese. Talk about a good time!"

The English lessons are funny, but so are the scenes between dad and daughters.

I quite like it when Cameron says 'We're screwed' after witnessing Patrick's first, disastrous attempt to ask Kat out. When his friend tells him to be more optimistic, he says the same line in a completely different way, with bucketloads of irony.

reply

Yes! Wow you just reminded me how much I love Joseph Gordon-Levitt in this!!

That jerk Joey and his idiotic pose he used for modeling underwear.
