Kat being pissed that Patrick wouldn't kiss her after puking

I'm sorry, but I thought this was dumb. I don't think they even had him hold back for that reason but just because he didn't think it would be right to kiss her, but seriously SHE JUST THREW UP. No one I know would want to kiss someone who had just puked, and it's kind of ridiculous that she would actually get mad at him for that.

She was mad that for the first time she showed a little vulnerability and he shot her down. She was embarrassed and took it out on him. It's not complex.

Correct!

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

He didn't kiss her because he didn't want to take advantage of her being drunk. He'd rather her WANT to kiss him when she's sober not just drunk and vulnerable. Much respect.

I think it's because he didn't want to take advantage of it and wasn't sure about his feelings yet, but I do believe he started having feelings for her at the party, but he wasn't sure she was into him as well because she was hammered, so he didn't want to kiss her just yet. I don't think HE would care if she had just thrown up. Lol.

You say "just thrown up" like she had tried to kiss him on the swing or something. It looked like quite a significant amount of time had passed since that had happened and him driving her home, hence her being more sober and them having a normal conversation. More than likely she cleaned herself up, so the two were unrelated, especially in her head.

If their genders were reversed, wouldn't the guy be shunned by society? As in, "don't get upset just because a girl didn't want to kiss you when you puckered up. Girls don't owe you sex just because you want it." And so on. Considering the script was written by women, seems kinda hypocritical.
