Why was Kat mad at Patrick after the party?

After Kat gets drunk at the party and dances on the table, almost knocking herself out on the chandelier, and Patrick prevents her from passing out, why is she so mad at him the next couple of days?
I mean, he didn't force her to go to the party, or get drunk, or dance on the table like a stripper. She would've done all that even if he wasn't there. Only difference would've been that no one would've taken her outside after hitting her head.
So I can't figure out why the next day she "hates him with the intensity of a thousand suns" when she should be saying "thank you."
But maybe I missed something?

Because he rejected her when she went in for the kiss.

When she was drunk? That sounds a little overkill, hating him for not taking advantage of her, especially when he saved her from being unconscious at a party.

She clearly wasn't drunk anymore, it's not that confusing. He worked so hard to get her to go out with him and then made her feel rejected when she started to reciprocate, so she felt embarrassed and angry at him. I don't know what's hard to understand about that.

so when women reject men they have to be mature and just take it and accept it but it's different when women get rejected? got it and here I was thinking women wanted to be treated equally silly me.

Lol. You don’t just become “not drunk anymore” after hitting your head, puking, and nearly passing out all within less than an hour. SMH!

She was just mad because she felt embarrassed after she tried to kiss him and he rejected her. Doesn't mean she was right in the situation, she was just "embarrassed" basically. He did do the right thing, the movie just needed an excuse to have her mad at him to move the plot along.

KAT allowed herself to be vulnerable again after making a promise not to do it... and she got rejected. Also, PATRICK didn't say why he was doing it.
