I was thinking of another animated series... most probably made by the same people who did this...some Canadian/French company.. the main character was a Phantom-esque figure, with the stereotypical female reporter love interest, bumbling detectives etc etc..everything was set in the 1930s I think.. for some reason all I can remember was that in the opening sequence etc there were a lot of shots of roses.

Anyone know the title? I can't think of it...it's killing me! Not that I enjoyed the show or anything but I hate not being able to remember the title when I can recall the theme song (which is running through my head like an unwanted parasite).

I believe that was called Phantom 2040

I think that show might have been Arsene Lupin (called "Night Hood" in English), about the famous French pulp hero, a gentleman thief.
