Okay, it's been a very long time sice I've seen this show, but was there some strange creature that travelled around with Quentin and Rameriz? I'm not sure if I just made it up, or if it really did exist. Someone please tell me. And if I didn't just imagine it, please tell me what it was.

Quentin MacLeod's kid stepsister Clyde has a pet called Gaul, who always travels with them. He belongs to a made up species called Gran, who look like hybrids of ape and canine and have almost human level of sentience. They act like dogs when on the ground, but they also have several pair of arms and live in trees. One episode even shows that Grans who live in the wild actually live in tribes and act like tribal people.
