I honestly can't figure it out.
I've numerous contacts which will sell me boot copies of virtually any movie that I can think of (and there are, unfortunately, a LOT of movies that aren't officially sanctioned by the studios yet). Mind you, I'm not advocating using boots as opposed to real copies...but if there's no other alternative...
Yet, for all my contacts, for all the good intentions and a bit of bragadoccio about having "everything," there remain (at least) three movies that NO ONE HAS.
The original "Ingagi" is one...but that was a quirky roadshow pic about jungle natives carrying around a half-naked white woman. (But I'd love to check it out some time! Heck, its success was a major influence on the making of "King Kong," so it certainly has deep historical value!)
But the other two are family-friendly animal movies, which EVERYONE wants to see again.
"Snowfire," the wild white stallion that the girl befriends.
And "The Littlest Hobo," the German Shepherd dog that went from town to town and just made himself welcomed.
Where are these movies???
From what I've read on the posts on here, LOTS of people would love to see those two movies again!
So what's the hold-up?
Addendum (I'm adding this almost a year later): I've since found a boot copy of "Snowfire" (recorded off of tv). Still no "Ingagi" or (most perplexingly) "Littlest Hobo," but one out of three ain't bad (or so they say in baseball, anyway).
