This was the only movie that covered the whole "end of the world" buzz in 1999. I worked at the movie theater and saw End of Days a couple times. It definitly helped create more atmosphere and fear of the unknown due to the release timing.

Loved it then, love it now....for nostalgia sake anyways....I just bought and watched the blu ray version tonight!

I think its funny that it made $66M Yeah its not 666, but close enough.

yeah, i went to see it in the theaters. i was about 13 years old then. the movie really freaked me out. i still remember that scary background score that plays through out the movie. thought it was a good movie though.

I was 17 and was caught up in the hype cuz I loved Arnie and Guns N Roses. I enjoyed the heck out of it at the time but always knew it was bad movie.

I saw it in the theater with a friend. Christine was born in 1979, the same year I was born. At the time it was incredibly freaky! I thought it was actually a really good movie.

Yeah...my family made the mistake of going at night. I ended up having nightmares from that albino guy on the train.

Saw it in the theater when I was 17, I think it was the 1st r rated film that legally saw without my parents present, not that had stopped me in the past. While I certainly found the movie spooky, especially the music, I thought it was cool flick.

i remember thinking it was going to be a big hit because of all the 1999/end of the world stuff

I was going through a Schwarzenegger phase when I was thirteen, so I saw this in theaters. My response? "...whoa..."

My favorite part of this movie? Gabriel Byrne. YUM! What a role!

Lots of fun to watch on NYE...of any year. ;)

Sure did. Saw it Thanksgiving weekend in '99 amidst the height of Y2K paranoia.

I saw it. I remember because I was supposed to be studying for my exams.

I can't remember if I liked it or not.

I remember thinking the 'devil' in 'the devils advocate' being cooler :-)

still, I'd like to see it again...

Saw it in the theater during a boring weekend. I was working my first or second job after graduating college. I thought it was pretty dumb and disappointing. I wasn't taking Y2K too seriously, either.

I saw it in the theatres when it came out. Although i didnt know whether to believe the story or not, i still went to my moms and had a look in her bible and saw what it said about 'a thousand years has ended', and it sort of freaked me out. Caused a big argument with my missus cos she was a catholic and didnt believe it at all.
Oh well, at least I managed to dump her, haha!!

I saw it back then. But being an atheist it made no difference to me. It was a good action/mystery film but creepy? Nah... there is too much Ahnuld in it for that. His accent takes the edge off any story.
