This movie is very good! I honestly don't know why most people don't like it. The acting, visual effects, and story was amazing.
Best movie from Arnold in my opinion!
"Sabotage" is another underrated film.
"Predator" is also action/horror just like End of Days.
I agree with you - I've always really liked End of Days. Don't get the hatred for it.

Just watched this last night for the first time on Amazon Prime randomly. I have to say I loved it. I been going through all of Arnold's movies one-by-one after the new Terminator came out.
This is a great film. I don't see why anyone would dislike this movie. I thought it was well written and well acted. The CGI also stands up well, too.
The best things, and perhaps the only legitimately good things about it, are John Debney's score and Gabriel Byrne's performance. Arnold did fine as a more damaged and complicated type of character but the material was just not there. It can't decide on what tone it wants, it pulls every supernatural cliché out of the book, and has one too many unintentionally comedic moments. Not Arnold's worst though.
