Region 2 DVD Release!?

When...if ever, will this film be released for Region 2 DVD!? I saw the film on channel 4 (a leading British TV channel for people who don't know it) about four years ago now and am desperate to watch it again! Has anybody heard/know anything, or am I simply going to have to buy a multi-region DVD player and get the Region 1 copy from the states?
