should i watch this before i watch 'crusade'

hi everyone should i watch this film before i watch the tv show it was made to lead into?

i would watch this first.the one important thing in this is the itroduction of the hero ship "excaliber".and it does introduce two of the characters who would be on crusade as well.

And it's a nice passing the torch from B5 to "Crusade".
