The music
really sucked ass and ruined it a bit for me.

Yeah, I just watched this movie for the first time since it was originally broadcast, and really enjoyed it. But that music is frickin' awful. For the first 20 minutes or so, and a few times after, it pulled me right out of the movie with it's irritating sounds and out of place digital twanging.

Have to agree with you

Just re-watched this after not seeing it for many, many years and I finally remembered what ruined it for me then.... The "SOUNDTRACK". I won't even dignify it by calling it "music".
At times it feels like a knife is stabbing directly into my brain. Its so distracting that it takes you right out of the movie altogether.
I honestly had to dial the audio level way down just to the point that I could still make out the dialogue. Its just AWFUL!
I really think the "music" (among other things) helped contribute to this shows very early demise.
Agreed. I dont remember the music being bad... but it is, bad.
Its the only B5 show that has bad music... its like they are trying to make it into an odd ball comedy when the President of the Interstellar alliance steals his own ship! (like Zaphoid Bebblebrox steals his own ship?)...
Lost Tales music was fine ... was the music in Crusade fine? OK? Good? Bad? ...
Somebody rescore this one!!!
It really is terrible, god knows what JMS was thinking.
shareThe only good bit of music in it was expected tune when Sheridan explains about the Drazi skin pouch lol
shareI have to agree, there where moments in the film that were dramatic and epic, but the music played it off as it it was some cutesy little scene, and really ruined the mood of the film for me. Honestly I do not think JMS was entirely able to do anything about the music, probably didn't have time to correct it, but I agree, this is a film that really should be rescored.
