I found this for a buck at a bookstore today, and I snatched it up...
You know, this really isn't that bad of a movie. In terms of style and humor, it's just like the first two films, just with a different cast. The new actors aren't that bad either, and do a decent job of emulating the previous set.
Besides - after a great first movie, "Addams Family Values" sunk way too far into uncomfortably dark humor. This movie is more lighthearted and entertaining.

A lot of people say this is the worst movie ever, which I personally disagree with. Home Alone 4 was a lot worse. I gave Addams Family Reunion a 5, because I have a enormous amount of respect for Tim Curry and Daryl Hannah and I hate criticising actors I respect. Both gave very spirited performances, despite being surrounded by poor production, poor specail effects, ghastly supporting actors(Fester especially) and a repulsive script. I did like the chemistry between Curry and Ed Begley Jnr. Brings back fond memories of Tales of the Crypt. In conclusion, there were some bits I liked, but overall it was a very poor film.
