This coming from someone who can barely spell or use the English language. Tim Curry is an excellent actor and he was the best thing about this piece of garbage which was only made in order to be a pilot for the new (at the time) TV show.

Ah, I was hoping I wouldn't be the first Rocky fan to notice that steaming pile of dog turd's hatred of Tim Curry. :-P

The actors weren't the problem - the problem was the weak special effects. This movie had some of the worst CGI I'd ever seen, like it wasn't finished. Seeing that animated dog *glide* down a hallway really spoiled it for me.

I agree. Tim Curry is a brilliant and underrated actor, and although he gave a spirited performance, he just looked uncomfortable.

I also disagree that the casting was the problem. I personally think the problem was the direction. That alone contributed to the many failures of this film.

Tim Curry? Bad? Does not compute at all, not only is Tim Curry the only good thing in this film he is an amazing actor besides. Clue, Rocky Horror, IT, Legend, he's been in so many amazing films as well as tons of voice over work for films and tv, He really does have an amazing singing and speaking voice and a very captivating screen presence, and he's sexy as hell to boot.

I thought that he did very well as Gomez, he isn't Raul Julia, but he was decent and brought his own flair to the role. I especially loved when he got arrested with Mortician, such a great scene as the cops are cuffing him up :P

I can barely remember this film. I saw it so long ago, probably when it first came out. I do however remember it sucking so bad I was stunned the whole time I was watching it. Probably why I didn't stop.

Tim Curry is not a bad actor per se, but everyone involved in this should hang their heads in shame. It was so bad I remember almost laughing. The difference in the actors/characters was the biggest shock. The other films were so good, this thing truly sucked in comparison.

I thought Tim Curry did pretty good as Gomez, I think he attempted to do it ore John Astin style.
