How was the killer able to physically pull that off?

Choking Lifting a big guy like Joshua Jackson or pressing Michelle Pfeiffer's lost son under toilet water.

One of 90's horrors funny little things.

Killer is almost always super strong, and faster than the speed of light.

The entire movie we saw was a distorted Urban Legend of the real events.
For example, Natalie and Paul survived the movie but died in the real story

Real Story???

in the end of the movie the killer is still alive and she says "here's how the story really went" so i guess one can assume she killed natalie and paul

Michelle pfeiffers lost son?

Michael Rosenbaum must have played her lost son in another flick.

And adrenaline, baby!

It was in the script. ;)

Same as Mrs Voorhees in Friday the 13th really, unhinged fury.

I love that it's completely ridiculous - all slasher films pivot on utter stupidity from either the characters' decision making or the unchallenged good karma the universe permits the killer in being everywhere they need to be at exactly the right time.

Mrs Voorhees would've been assisted/empowered by the demonic creature revealed in "Jason Goes to Hell" (1993). When she was killed at the end of Part I the thing left her and soon possessed Jason who was living in the nearby woods. This explains how Jason could continue functioning as a cadaver reenergized by lightning, as shown at the beginning of Part VI.
