Help Please

Can someone please help me with something. The Dead Zone where they were flying over. Does anyone know what the name of the place was. You know in Siberia, Russia - the Ice Lake or the Ruined City. I can't find it anywhere. Or does it really exist? They made so much out of it. That nothing electronically works there. I want to see a real picture of this place.
