Too old and way too fake. Watched Starship Troopers 3 the other day, and she looked like she was about to melt during the desert scenes.

There is a man...he travels fast...he has purpose...he brings violence and destruction.

Considering that in a magazine pictoral spread they reduced the size of Kate Wislet's thigh's and I think one of the interviews Angelina Jolie did for the first Lara Croft movie that she wore padding that made her breasts slightly bigger then they are. Then my question is why not Christina Hendricks of Mad Men for Lara Croft. She's got a great face and body and we know her bust line wouldn't be an issue. I suggest a movement be started for the loveley Ms. Hendricks to be the next Lara Croft. Anyone else agree?

I can only see Angelina as Lara Croft, but I dont think she'd do another movie. But watching LOST, every time Kate goes hiking with a bag on her shoulders, climbs a tree or threaten someone by a gun all I can think is: THIS IS LARA CROFT!

I liked Jolie in the part but in this ridiculous thread you are the only one whose idea doesn't seem totally ludicrous... Lilly is obviously athletic and she seems to have the attitude... all the others are little girls "du jour" who have already 'acted' tough and badly of course.

Christina Hendricks would be ok but the already have a new face for the games (Alison Carroll) and she's perfect. She's a gymast, so she can do all of the stunts

Get Megan Fox as Lara Croft she can do this all the action scenes,stunt scenes and gunfight scenes,also she's resembles to Angelina Jolie and make her British American her dad's british and mom's american.

I heard they were going to make a reboot/origins type film, gogin for a younger Lara.

Megan Fox is overrated and shouldnt be involved with this, maybe someone we havent even seen before.

Summer Glau would be perfect as Lara Croft. She's got the look, she's a great actress, she does her own stunts and has lots of firearm training, she can do foreign accents, and best of all she's a professionally trained ballerina. If you've seen her fight scenes in Serenity, you'd know she's capable of pulling off acrobatic stunts that would probably have put Angelina Jolie in the hospital, because being a dancer gave her a very flexible body. She's perfect!

She was in Alien vs. Predator as a "sacrificial maiden." I'm not sure I'd call that "acting experience."

Jolie is it for me. It wasn't her fault the scripts were absolute *beep* But if they could never entice her back to the franchise, I hope to God they don't use Megan Fox. Her Angelina Jolie-wannabeism just plain creepy.

I like the suggestion of Summer Glau. Other young actresses that I'd like to see considered are Moon Bloodgood, Mila Kunis and Krysten Ritter (she's great in Breaking Bad).

Megan Fox is pretty and has that "sexy" vibe but is she too similar to Jolie? It would be easier for an actress with a different "look" to break out of the inevitable comparisons to Jolie and establish a new face for Lara Croft.

Rhona Mitra's too old!! Maybe 5 years ago but they want someone younger for this one (or so I read?). I still think Karima Adebibe, she's got the perfect accent, too.

Or how about Emily Blunt? Or Katee Sackhoff?
