Near the beginning of the movie, Lara Croft is taking a shower and he have some
of the most bizarre/bestial face ive seen.
is that normal for a british aristocrat to do this kind of thing?

Yeah it was odd. It was the exact opposite of how the Lara of that time would act.

I'm thinking the scene was there to make up for the fact that she wouldn't be wearing the traditional outfit again and would pretty much be covered from head to toe for the rest of the movie. They did the same thing in Whiteout, when Kate Beckinsale has this ridiculous steamy shower during the credits because she spends the remaining time running around in a giant parka.
There is a man...he travels fast...he has purpose...he brings violence and destruction.
That shower scene is cheesy and unnecessary. I love every frame of it.

Having a shower scene is fine. The issue is the face she makes during the scene. It is the weirdest creepiest face you can get from a naked woman in the shower.
