I was an extra in this, but never saw it!

I had to make sure this was the right movie...but when I saw the credits included "chicken man," I knew it was it.

Back in the summer of 1999, I was 21 and working at a video arcade in a mall in Middletown, NY. A woman came into the arcade looking to recruit people for extras in a movie scene that would be filmed at a nearby farm (around Westtown or Johnson, NY). I offered up my services, and was told when to be there.

I have no CLUE what this scene was about, but they dressed me and several others up in bloody butcher aprons. Some were given real shotguns loaded with blanks, but others (like me) were given neon colored plastic shotguns.

We were told to run in from the woods, line up, then "open fire" at the cameras.

There was a group of kids who were filming a similar scene...they too had plastic shotguns and squirt guns, and fired them at the cameras.

The other scene that was filmed when I was there was a kiss between the main stars, I suppose.

And the chicken man was there, but I had no idea what it was doing.

This all took place in the summer of 1999, but IMDB says this movie is 2005. I know it takes time to make movies, but daaaamn. I've never seen it on DVD, in theaters, on TV, or even on YouTube. How can one see this movie?

It's been two weeks since I've posted this, and I now own the DVD. I haven't watched it yet, but I skipped ahead to the scene I was in...

...and I was cropped out! Bah.
