This could have been great (SPOILER WARNING)

But the ending was totally ridiculous. With a little editing it could have been believable. Evidently they conspired against the husband and the boyfriend.

The flaw is when the black detective goes to the hit man with a search warrent they are alone and it seems that there is no indication they are conspirators which they later were. When they were alone there is no way they wouldn't have brought each other up to date and then acted it out when the third detective came in.

And the DAs has final say on deals - not cops or even assistants.
