One of my favorite games.

I love Kid Icarus and Metroid. They are sister games. They were made at the same time using similar engines. They have similar passward systems (24 chars from 64). They draw their screens using the same engine. There are many platforms that look the same in both games. (In Norfair and world 3-Skyland)

Trivia: In Japan Metroid and Kid Icarus used save slots to save games. When they ported it to America they went to the password system.

I have cracked the password for Kid Icarus. :)

I wish they would produce a brand new Kid Icarus Game for the Wii. Last I heard they are including Pit in the new version of Super Smash Brothers for the Wii, so why can't they make a new game? Metroid has had much success over the various platforms, and I always though Kid Icarus was a very popular game when it was out.

Look on youtube.com for a video of game called "Dead Phoenix". It was originally for Gamecube but was cancelled. It was being developed by Capcom.

So, rumor has it, that since Capcom and Nintendo have a handshake going with Megaman Battle Network and Capcom deving the Zelda GBA series', that Nintendo approached Capcom about this new game and making it a Kid Icarus game for Wii instead.

Now mind you, this is a rumor, but check out the video. Would this not be the coolest game to use the Wiimote with?

Why wasen't this produced on GBA? Look, they got a lot of the classic NES games on the GBA all except Kid Icarus. Which really sucks, I really want to play this game!

They only released Kid Icarus on GBA in Japan. If they had released it here I would have bought it.

Rose, please say you didn't! Please say you didn't!!
