whatever happened to Bazooka Marksman Joe (Kevin Durand's character)

he attacked Austin at his house party right after arriving in 1969 and he remained alive at the end of his scene.

I know I read somewhere that it was originally in the script for a teenage 'Patty O'Brien' (the Irish assassin from the first movie) to be working for Dr. Evil in the 60s and the one who attacks him in that scene but the joke was that he was 15 years old and always drinking alcohol, which they had to get rid of because they'd get an R-Rating for it.

Maybe with Kevins new found fame from Lost he can return for the 4th film even though he was the most forgettable henchman in the series.
