Copy and paste the link to your favorite browser to read what Richard Harris had to say about the McCourt Family, Limerick Ireland, and the book itself.

Thank you for sharing that link to Mr Harris' feelings about the Limerick Lanes and McCourt.

I also read another article from that Blog that goes into greater details about the inconsistencies, exaggerations, and untruths of Angela's Ashes. It is definitely worth reading.

I love it when I watch which seems like a good film based on a true story, then afterwards I go on the Internet and find out it's a bunch of lies.

reply

Wow, that was interesting. Poor Angela, even in death to be treated like that.

Sounds like Harris is just a dickbag to me. Too bad, I kinda liked him as an actor.

Harris is the opposite of a dickbag tyvm. He was always a very popular man and when my father met him many years ago in Galway he said he was a pure gent.

reply

Well, the biggest case in point or evidence against McCourt was even his own mother called his work lies.
She had nothing to lose, to be honest.
Him and Malachy did tho.
